In close to 40 years of commitment and consistence, the CamCCUL network has acquired and demonstrated commendable partnering experience through its ability and willingness to serve members within the very low-income areas of Cameroon. 

CamCCUL network institutions and processes are democratic and no doubt have played a major role in consolidating CamCCUL’s constant intermediation between home-based or international institutions with rural and urban areas in credit distribution, especially micro-credits to small-scale businesses among low-income groups.

CamCCul’s wealth of experience and its reliability is demonstrated by the quality of projects and its successful implementation thereof. See some of the projects.

 

The Canadian AMIEC Project

Located in the Extreme North part of Cameroon it ensured distribution credits to the rural poor by financing small and medium size businesses;

 

The Canadian MPPF-CAM Project

Targeting businesswomen in the Centre Province of Cameroon it provided credit facilities to enhance business activities of women.


African Development Bank project (PREPAFEN)

Located in the Extreme North Province of Cameroon it is currently providing access to credit facilities for the financing of micro enterprises in the area. CamCCUL is ensuring credit distributing via its credit union network for small and medium size businesses with emphasis on women participation. 

 

African Development Bank (PARFAR)

This ADB funded project covers tall three northern provinces of Cameroon. Credit is channeled through CamCCUL to groups in the CamCCUL affiliates for income generating activities.

 

European Union (PAPT Project)

The European Union Project in the Tikar Plain known as PAPT also provided CamCCUL with funds to lend to farmers of this plain via member credit unions set up and controlled by CamCCUL within the area.

 

Arab Development Bank Micro-finance Project (Badea)

The Arab Development Bank Micro-finance Project (Badea) in the South West Province provides credit facilities for the financing of operations in the Livestock and Fisheries sector, most which is distributed by CamCCUL through its credit union network.

 

World Bank FIMAC Project

CamCCUL’s work on projects with international donors has been very successful especially under the World Bank FIMAC Project after which CamCCUL given the opportunity to continue implementing the practices introduced by the project among the rural poor in Cameroon.
