Eligibility

CamCCUL membership is limited to Credit Unions duly registered under law number 92/006 of 14 August 1992

Membership

Fill a membership application form, obtainable from the Head office or our Chapter offices

Be ready to abide by CamCCUL Bylaws and to League General Assembly decisions

Pay entrance Fee

Buy Shares.

 

Rights & Obligations

CamCCUL members own CamCCUL. They form the base of the organization and are its decision makers. In the general Assembly meeting they elect the Board of Directors and a supervisory committee to manage and control the League on their behalf

Once your Credit Union becomes a member of the League, it shall, as with all organizations have rights and obligations

 

Rights

CamCCUL Members have the right to:

Attend general meetings, vote and be voted.

Free supervision and audits by CamCCUL Field Inspectors

Use League brochures and posters for promotion

Use of the appellation ‘Cooperataive Credit Union’ or ‘Caisse Populaire Cooperative’ along with its name

Use the Credit Union Logo

Benefit from League Services

Free exchange with other League members and CamCCUL affiliated international organizations

 

Obligations

CamCCUL Members have the obligation to:

Abide by League Bylaws and decisions of the General Assembly

Use standardized accounting documents and stationary designed and sold by CamCCUL

Pay annual dues

Keep at least 20% of share savings in fixed deposit account for liquidity ratio

Attend General Meetings organized by the League.
